Consuming certain vegetables and leading stressful life is crucial for the prostate health. For example, certain vegetables contain a phytonutrient called indole-3-carbinole. It is changed by the liver to Diindolylmethane (DIM). These compounds support the liver in breaking down and detoxifying estrogen, protect cell DNA, and kill cancer cells.
Don’t forget that prevention is the best medicine. So, start including some of these cruciferous vegetables into your daily diet.

Here’s my list of the most important vegetables you can consume to protect your prostate and prevent prostate health problems:

Recipes For Healthy Prostate
It is very easy to include these vegetables in your diet, especially when you have delicious recipes. We recommend you to try two of our favorites:
Prostate Protecting Roasted Broccoli
- 1 pound broccoli or one package broccoli florets
- 5 Tbsp avocado oil
- 1/2 Tsp salt
- 9×13 inch pan–I use a stoneware pan
- Pre-heat oven to 375
Fist, rinse the broccoli in cold water. Then, carefully cut the broccoli into 3-5 inch long pieces. Now, rub two tablespoons of the avocado oil onto the bottom of the 9×13 pan. Then, put all the broccoli pieces on the pan. Pour 3 tablespoons of avocado oil over the broccoli and stir with a large wooden spoon or fork. Don’t forget to sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Now, roast in the oven for about 20-25 minutes.
When you notice some of the broccoli edges begin to brown, the broccoli is well cooked.
You consume roasted broccoli cold or warm, it is up to you! If you want, you can chop up the leftovers and eat them on top of a green salad.
