Golden milk is a perfect combination of ginger root, black pepper, coconut milk, coconut oil, and turmeric powder. If you don’t like its taste you can add some honey inside. As I already mentioned above, golden milk is very beneficial to drink, because its ingredients (ginger root, turmeric, black pepper, and coconut) have health benefits to offer.

Golden milk is usually made from a milk and heated up, but you could also be a part of pastes and teas.

Golden Milk Recipe:

  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 2 cups of coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • A small piece (1/4 inch wide) of fresh ginger root (peeled and minced)

Optional:

  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • Half a teaspoon of cinnamon

Blend the ingredients, put them in a saucepan and heat up for about 5 minutes (don’t boil them) and the golden drink is ready.
