Cancer is one of the deadliest diseases on the planet, and it affects the lives of millions of people all over the world.
The conventional treatment for cancer prioritizes chemotherapy, which is not always so effective, and what is worse, it causes more pain to the patients. Because of this, many individuals that are suffering from cancer, like Candice Marie Fox, decide to try alternative treatments for cancer.
She has been diagnosed with 20 papillary thyroid carcinomas, which is an early indication of thyroid cancer, and she was told that she had one year left to live. The doctor advised her to remove the lumps so that she can extend her life, and avoid the risk of losing her voice. This remedy, however, did not give the expected results, and because of that, the cancer has spread to her neck as well as to her liver.
A more proactive approach
She was against chemotherapy because she blamed this treatment for the deaths of her cousin and her friend, aged 13 and 31, respectively.
She has instead decided to do something on her own. She stopped drinking, smoking, using cosmetics as well as toxic products. She did not even spare her unsupportive husband and her job.
She took up meditation, positive thinking, and yoga, and she also embraced the vegan lifestyle. She strongly believed that removing meat from her diet, will ultimately result in her body having more energy to fight the cancer.
She says that the animal products contain a protein that gives the cancerous cells food and strength, which sucks out all the energy from the body.
The fruit behind her recovery
Fox’s secret weapon was pineapple. This fruit is rich in bromelain, which is a compound that can boost the immune system and that can alleviate inflammation. It also enhances the cancer-killing properties of macrophages by 12 times!
She juiced three pineapples every day, and she mixed them with bananas, lemons, kiwi, papaya, apples, and grapefruit. Her cancer disappeared in just six months after she implemented this diet. Her thyroglobulin levels were cut down to 0.7, from 13 nanograms per one milliliter. After 5 years these levels dropped down to 0.2, which is just 0.1 over the normal range.
This proved that she defeated cancer.
Mark Simon, the director at the Nutritional Oncology Research Institute in California says that Fox’s tumor markers have been within the normal range for over two years now and that they can safely say that her stage 4 cancer is under effective management. He also says that other patients that use conventional treatments have low survival rates, and all of that happens because of the unhealthy lifestyle that they lead.
Dr. Simon says that by changing your lifestyle, diet and if you exercise regularly, you can successfully manage cancer. After all, Fox is a living testimony of that.
