  • Blow-dryer
  • Tight shoes

The very first thing that you need to do is to put on a pair of thick socks. Also, you need to remember that the tighter your shoes are, the thicker your socks need to be. Then, take the blow-dryer and dry the places that are tight for a few seconds. You also need to flex your feet in order to stretch the material. When you are done, do not remove the shoes, and wear them until they cool off. When they are cold, you can take them off, and then try them out without the thick socks. They should now fit.

  1. Candle wax

Candle wax is another method to prevent shoe bites. You need to take one candle and then put the wax on the edges that are hard. This will help you smooth the areas where the shoe bites happen.

You need to use a lot of wax, because of the fact that the wax can wither off soon.

Rub the was on the hard edges, and when you feel discomfort rub the wax again. Repeat this for a few days until your shoes stretch and stop hurting.

  1. Freezing

This is a trick that will also prevent shoe bites. It is very simple because all that you need to do is to put a bag that is filled with water inside of your shoes. Then, take the shoes and freeze them and that will loosen them up.

The water will expand when it becomes frozen, which will stretch the shoes.

Necessary things:

  • Big ziplock bags
  • Water
  • Tight shoes

How to do it:

You need to take two ziplock bags and then fill them with water. The amount of water that you put in the bags needs to be enough to fill up the toe cap of the shoes. Before you seal the bags, squeeze out the air, and then put the bags inside the shoes.

Then, put the shoes in your freezer for four to eight hours. This is enough time for the water to freeze and then remove them from the freezer and see if they fit. If it is necessary, you can do this procedure all over again.
