When the public saw the photos of the owner of the Jimmy John’s restaurant, many people decided to stop eating at his place. On those photos, he is posing with animals killed on trophy hunting expeditions. As stated by the Business Insider, Jimmy John Liataud has visited Africa several times and took part in big game hunting. He hunted rhinos, elephants, zebras, and leopards.
Here, you can see Liataud posing with what Real Farmacy says is a ‘gravely endangered’ black rhino. The license Mr. Liataud purchased to kill the beast reportedly cost $350,000.
In this picture, you can see him with an elephant.
In the period between 2011 and 2014, poachers killed a staggering 100,000 elephants. The National Geographic Channel informed us that the obsession of the hunters with this game, has caused fatal consequences. The animals are now on the edge of extinction.
Based on the opinion of experts and their estimates, the African elephants could be completely extinct in Africa by 2020.
