Most of the traditional Chinese medicine made with the belief that energy (chi or qi) flows along the meridian pathways throughout the body. This is the basis of Chinese medicine. Acupuncture, for example, believes that most diseases are caused by obstruction or imbalance in the flow of chi. By improving the condition of the chi flow, the organs can function properly and prevent diseases.
Each meridian is connected with different internal organ and they are symbolized with specific points and by massaging on these points we can release resistance at chi. The therapy will remove the strain on the organs and improve health, both physically and psychologically. You can practice acupuncture in your own home without having to go to an acupuncturist.
You need to focus on a point on the neck located in the middle between the tendon at the back of the neck, base of the skull, and upper neck (near the hairline). The acupuncturists dub this point as Feng Fu or Mansion Wind. They believe that by stimulating Feng Fu, we can improve health and reduce various health problems. To do Feng Fu therapy we need an ice cube.
When lying on your stomach, place an ice cube on “Wind Mansion” and leave it for 20 minutes. You can tie the ice cube with a bandage. You will feel the cold in the beginning but also the heat after 60 seconds. Do this procedure twice a day, morning and night, then you can facilitate the release of endorphins into the bloodstream that is useful to increase your internal energy. According to many Chinese medicine experts, this method serves to improve the physiological balance, regenerate the body, and overcome many health problems as follows:
• Improving the quality of sleep
