Detox baths make you feel and look healthier and better. If you want to make your tired feet look well again, the foot detox is amazing. If you want flip-flops, sandals or just being barefoot, healthy feet are nice-looking feet. The bath can be really relaxing especially warming and cleansing one.
But, try them before bed because they can make you feel tired. The recipes are natural, simple, and boost your health, while toxins are successfully removed from the skin. Try these methods:
1. Salt detox
1 Cup Epsom salt, 2 cups baking soda, 1 cup sea salt. In a boiling water, add the Epsom salt, baking soda and the salt. Fill up the tub with hot water and some add apple cider vinegar, some essential oil, and the previous mixture. Soak in this for half an hour. Be careful with this detox bath, because you will feel dizzy when getting out. Do this bath before going to bed. This bath is great for skin problems and irritations and also for overall detox.
2. Clay detox bath
½ Cup bentonite clay, essential oil, ½ cup Epsom. Dissolve the Epsom in hot water bath. Next, add the essential oils. For the clay try: 1) Mix some water with clay to see the clumps are smooth. You should never use metal for this, but you can use wood or plastic. Add clay mix in the bath and soak 15-20 min. Or 2) make a mixture of clay with a bit water. For a mask, you should stand in the tub with water and rub clay mix over the body 5 min before drying. When you soak, use a clean cloth to scrub the dry parts.
3. Oxygen detox bath
1 tbsp of dry ginger and 2 Cups hydrogen peroxide. Fill the tub with hot water and then add the ginger and the hydrogen peroxide. Soak in this 30 minutes, body aches will be gone soon. It is also good for irritated skin and allergies.
4. Feet pads detox
Tree extracts and bamboo pads and can be found in any health store. These pads originate from Japan and are called detox patches. If you put them before you go to bed, in the morning you will see the trick. Some people feel fewer headaches, less joint pains, more energy and less fatigue.
5. Ionic bath for foot
Ionic bath removes feet toxins. These baths use electricity that makes negative and positive ions in salty warm water. This method is called electrolysis and means using electrical current for making a chemical reaction. Breaking water molecules down into ion of energy is seen in the salt water. Warm water successfully opens up feet pores and salt acts like anti-inflammatory astringent. Ions get absorbed and feet start the detox. The water color will start to change from muddy, darkish to black. This is a result of this salt acting with ionic cartridge, not toxins leaving the body.
