Shocking Even for the Doctors: Coconut Oil Effectively Destroys 93% of Colon Cancer Cells

The latest statistics show that this type of cancer is widely spread around the world affecting the health of men and women as well. Unfortunately, this terrible disease seems unstoppable considering the fact that is taking many lives every year. Modern medicine is almost powerless when it comes to finding a cure. But, a group of researchers presented an absolutely incredible discovery, leaving even the doctors in a certain doubt. As strange as it sounds, they discovered that in just 2 days coconut oil can kill 93% of colon cancer cells.

In the study carried out by the researchers from the Adelaide University of Australia is clearly stated that lauric acid, which makes up 50% of coconut oil, has the power to kill more than 93% of colon cancer cells in humans in only 48 hours. The study has been supported by both in vitro experiments in Petri dishes and in vivo in rats.

The two experiments have shown the same results. How the lauric acid si so powerful against this cancer? Destroying the cancer cells happens while causing oxidative stress. Cancer cells depend on glutathione, whereas lauric acid considerably reduces its level. But there is a big problem concerning this research is that it costs a lot and it is unappealing to sponsors as natural remedies cannot be patented. Hence, the pharmaceutical companies are not interested to support financially such trials, in spite of the fact that they affect wellbeing of the entire population.

This lauric acid is also found in mother’s milk. It is a fatty acid that makes stronger the immune system and has strong anti-bacterial properties.

According to the clinical studies of the American Nutrition Association, the fats in the coconut oil can be very beneficial, as in the curing and prevention of health issues like diabetes, osteoporosis, viral diseases, Crohn’s disease, and cancer.

It is also important to know that helps in reducing the side-effects of chemotherapy and ameliorates the overall health condition of cancer patients.

This oil as a natural source of fat was disregarded during the 1960s’ because the manufacturers of margarine and hydrogenated oil started telling people that it causes various number of health problems. In fact, they were trying to find a way to persuade the consumers to start buying these products, or in other words trans-fat products. Actually, their products with artificial fat sources were to blame for the health problems.

Although, pharmaceutical companies don’t favor natural remedies, we should not have doubts that nature has the cure for almost any existing disease. Unfortunately, without medical research and approval they remain unrevealed to people who needs them the most.
