As you already know earwax is a yellow substance produced inside the ear. Earwax protects the ear from harmful bacteria. Earwax is also known as a natural lubricant for the ear canal and ear. But, sometimes when its amount increases, it causes annoying irritation and itching. In some cases, it can damage your hearing and can cause you dizziness. So, you have strong reasons to take care of your ear hygiene.
This obstruction can happen as a result of using popular cotton swabs to clean your ears. But, have you ever heard that they have the opposite effect? In fact, they push the earwax deeper into the ear canal. People who often wear headphones or earplugs are exposed to an increased risk of accumulating too much earwax.
We recommend you to follow the instructions for these solutions and remove the earwax without any side-effects.
Dissolve one teaspoon of salt in a half cup of water. Then, soak a cotton ball in the solution. Drop a few drops in the ear while tilting the head on one side. Stay in this position for 2-3 minutes. You will enable the liquid to go through the ear canal and soften the earwax in your ear. Next, tilt the head to the opposite side. Clean the draining liquid with a clean tissue.
For this treatment, you should heat 3 tablespoons of paraffin oil over a candle flame. Drop a couple of drops in your ear and lie for 2-3 minutes. Don’t forget to rinse the remaining wax with warm water. Repeat this for three days until you remove the earwax completely.
Make a solution of equal amounts of water and hydrogen peroxide. Use 3% hydrogen peroxide bought from pharmacies. Drop several drops into the ear and shake the head carefully so that the liquid enters the ear canal. Wait for 2-3 minutes and then tilt your head to the opposite direction so that the liquid can come out.
Drop few drops of glycerin into each ear. For best results do this three times a day.
