Turmeric vs Ibuprofen (which is better?)

Do you often use Ibuprofen of Advil (NSAIDs) to help you get rid of aches and pains? If so, you need to know that these medication actually do more harm than good to your health. Plus, they can complicate the health condition even more. There was a report released by The Institute of Medicine of the National Academies in which it was stated that at least 100 million Americans suffer from chronic pain. An organization called the American Pain Foundation conducted the Voices of Chronic Pain Survey 2016 to examine how much impact has chronic pain on the lives of those who are mostly affected by it. The results showed that 51% of the people involved in this survey, answered that they feel helpless to control their pain, while 59% reported a considerable influence on the quality of their lifestyle. The majority of the participants, 70-86%, stated symptoms of depression, sleeping disorders, poor cognitive function, and chronic fatigue.

The majority of American population consider ibuprofen as the best solution for treating many kinds of pains, but as any other NSAID medication, has a temporary effect. NSAID’s work has saved many people from pain, but you need to know that there is also a negative side of taking these medications. One research showed that NSAID consumption is related to increased risk of heart attack, stroke, ulcers, gastritis and other serious health conditions.

Turmeric Can Help

Turmeric has already been proven for several times that it has potent healthy benefits. It reduces pain much more effectively than any other leading medication. One study in 2004 showed that elements of turmeric were much better option than drugs like aspirin, ibuprofen, sulindac, phenylbutazone, naproxen and diclofenac.

Many experts confirm the fact that this herb is that powerful because of its anti-inflammatory properties. It is mostly known for its ability to support the immune system with antioxidants.

How anti-inflammatory foods act?

– They neutralize inflammation by causing free radicals in the body.

– The prevent the body from producing the chemicals that actually initiate inflammation (aspirin and OTC pain medications actually act this way).

If you take turmeric by itself, then most of it is not absorbed in the body. Turmeric and curcumin (turmeric’s active ingredient) is insoluble in water and little of it is absorbed in the body. This minimizes its therapeutic value. Since it is hard to absorb, it must be formulated in a certain way enabling the body to absorb and utilize its entire variety of nutrients.

Try this new form of turmeric which tastes amazing and is easier for absorption. PuraTHRIVE Organic Turmeric Extract is an excellent full-spectrum extract that is ‘’liposomalized,’’ which means that it is specifically blended to make the turmeric bind to phospholipids, which are healthy fats and increase its bioavailability 10 to 20 times.

It sounds like turmeric is far better solution than Ibuprofen, doesn’t it?
